Last weekend, as most of you I’m sure know, was the Hungarian Formula One Grand Prix in Budapest. The race took place in Hungaroring Circuit. We didn’t go there, but Amara and I went to the Hungaroring Fest in Buda Castle on Saturday.

It was very interesting. We tried the HINTAYO, it was a giant swing which looked like a ship…. you should check out the website, there is a video about it.

Amara couldn’t get enough and tried to swing twice. It was so much fun!!

Afterward we went to see the car exhibition, to be honest I didn’t know which car is what…. I’m sure not all of them are F1 cars though.

You could also try to change the tire and measure the time just like in a real car race, Amara would like to try…sorry honey..for (big) adults only …we took pictures instead.

Many booths with typical hungarian salami, cheese and drinks were there of course. There was also a Hungarian villages with their crafts, arts, etc. Interesting for Amara there was the traditional carousel which operated without machine but manually by a man power, at first we thought the parent from the kid supposed to operate it…fortunately we were wrong….so Amara gave it a try

Akhir pekan lalu ada Hungarian Formula One Grand Prix in Budapest. Sehubungan dengan acara ini di daerah Buda Castle ada acara Hungaroring Fest. Di sana ada pameran macam-macam mobil balap dan juga mobil baru. Ada pameran motor HD juga. Terus terang saya sama sekali gak ngerti mengenai mobil, jadi saya foto-foto saja, silahkan dilihat sendiri itu mobil apa.

Menarik buat kami, terutama Amara, seneng banget lihat penonton boleh coba ganti ban mobil seolah-olah di arena balap, seru banget…penonton ikut tegang.

Ada juga HINTAYO, betuknya seperti kapal, dari kayu, buat ayunan ramai-ramai. Coba deh lihat websitenya, ada videonya di situ. Amara sampai nggak mau turun, terakhir di sebelah kiri hanya tiga anak, sebelah kanan dua dewasa dan anak-anak. Seru banget, sampe mas-mas panitia ikutan bantuin kubu Amara.

Selain itu ada juga pameran desa Hungaria. Ada kerajinan tangan, seni, theater dan permainan buat anak-anak. Yang menarik ada karusel tradisional yg belum pakai mesin tapi tenaga manusia. Tadinya saya kira masing-masing orang tua harus menggerakkan karusel buat anaknya, ternyata sudah ada dari pihak panitia, ya sudah silahkan nduk nikmati naik karusel
