Yes yes…that was what my 8 year old daugher told me today (again!) regarding sleeping alone policy.And I had to laugh to this argument : “Why do I have to sleep alone? I’m only a kid! You are an adult and you sleep with papi together!!”

When hubby told her: “Yes because we are married.” She answered: “So? I’m your daughter! I used to sleep with you all the time and suddenly I have to sleep alone because I’m bigger? What about you? You are much bigger than I am…. Life is so unfair!!”

Yes yes little darling…life is sometimes unfair… but what can I say, it is what it is.

ps. she actually enjoy her room and her ‘I am not a kid anymore therefor I can of course sleep alone’ space, but there are also times when she suddenly wants to sleep with us (I call it cuddling time) but lately I think she is getting used to this and she comes to us almost everynight.
